Last Saturday Stacy and I had the pleasure of shooting Holly and Chris’ wedding in Anderson at the Wilhite house. Holly was truly a stunning bride! It rained all day long but cleared up just in time for the outdoor wedding. The bride, groom, and the wedding party were all troopers though!
Last weekend we traveled down to Hilton Head Island for a nice little wedding on the beach! I love shooting destination weddings! We are fortunate enough to shoot several weddings on the coast every year!
When we arrived in Hilton Head the heat index was 115 degrees! Thankfully by the time the wedding rolled around it wasn’t quite as hot. It was hot, but not 115 hot!
This was the 2nd wedding that we had ever shot in Abbeville. Both weddings we have shot there have been amazing! This one took place at The Hill House. This house is 170 years old! If someone is looking for a venue in the Greenwood/Abbeville area, you can’t go wrong with the Hill house!
Jessica was such a beautiful bride! She wore a beautiful dress with a gorgeous red sash that just added to the dress!
A few weeks ago Stacy and I traveled down to the Columbia area for Elizabeth & Drew’s wedding. The wedding was at Ashland United Methodist Church, and the Reception at the Saluda Shoals River Center.
Elizabeth was a gorgeous bride! She had such a classic look about her.
A couple of weeks ago we had the honor of photographing the Gale Wedding at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Greenville, SC. The reception was at Zen also in Greenville. Willrich Bridal, one of the best wedding coordinators in Greenville coordinated the day!
Last month we had the privelage of photographing another wedding at the Gassaway Mansion in Greenville. The good folks at Gassaway really know how to throw a party, and this wedding was no exception!
Ellen looked stunning in her wedding dress, and David looked dapper in his tux!
I feel sometimes like I must be the luckiest person in the world. To have a job that I love, a loving family, and the best clients in the world! We shot one wedding in January this year. We woke up that Saturday morning to an ice storm! Authorities were advising everyone to stay off the roads. We had a wedding that day, so staying off the roads was not an option. Luckily, our wedding that beautiful Saturday, our wedding was less than a mile from our home! How lucky is that?
The wedding and reception was at Aabstract’s Gallery in Fountain Inn, SC.
We are almost finished blogging 2009 weddings! It has been a good bit of work going back and blogging some of our older work, but we’re glad everyone is getting a chance to to view it.
In November we didn’t have to travel too far from home to photograph the Wadsworth Wedding. The wedding took place at Crossroads Community Church in Simpsonville, SC, and the reception was held at the Holly Tree Country Club, also in Simpsonville.
I hope everyone is enjoying all of our recent blog posts as we try to catch up the blog on weddings and events.
Today we are blogging the Simmons wedding that we photographed in October. The wedding was at Daniel Chapel on the campus of Furman University, and the reception took place at the Younts Center, also on the campus of Furman.
Willrich Bridal coordinated and planned the wedding, so we knew it was going to be beautiful, and go on without a hitch! Indeed, this was the case.
Karen & Chris chose to have their engagement session at their mountain home on Lake Keowee in the SC Mountains. We shot outside as long as we could before the rain started. It was just enough time!
