Last weekend we went up to Gastonia, NC for Katie and AJ’s engagement session. Special thanks to Pennybrook Farms for allowing us to photograph at the farm!

A couple of weeks ago on a crisp Sunday morning, we traveled up to Chimney Rock, NC to do April and Scott’s engagement session.  We shot along the riverwalk at Chimney Rock Village, and finished at Lake Lure.

2 weeks ago we drove up to the beautiful Claxton Farm for Jenny & Will’s wedding. I had always heard that Claxton Farm was amazing, but we had never shot up there before now.  M7 Event Solutions did an amazing job making sure the wedding went off without a hitch!

The setting was perfect for Jenny & Will!

A couple months ago I drove up to Cedar Mountain, NC to do Ellen’s bridal portraits.  When I left Fountain Inn, the the temperature was about 60 degrees.  Once I got to North Carolina,  I started seeing snow on the ground!  I had no idea we would end up doing a bridal portrait session in the snow!  We had a blast!

We are finally catching up to 2010 portrait sessions and weddings!  It has taken a while, but we hope to be totally caught up by June 1st.

Back in January we had the pleasure of driving up to Belmont, NC to photograph Amanda and Steve’s engagement session.  Belmont, NC is always such a neat place to shoot an engagement session.  You have parks, pretty sidewalks, neat stores, and then of course the trains.

I suppose this has turned into engagement session week as we catch everyone up out photo sessions for the last 6 months.

Today I’m introducing you to Megan and Darren.  Back in the Fall I went up to the mountains of NC to photograph their engagement session.  It was a perfect Fall day!  We went on a short hike to Hooker Falls, then finished up at Caesars Head State Park in SC.
