In July I met up with Lauren and Clark a Clemson University to photograph their engagement session. Both Lauren and Clark are both Clemson grads, so Clemson was a perfect place for the session.
We started out shooting around Tillman Hall, then worked our way over to the SC Botanical Gardens.
Lauren was a bridesmaid at Amber’s wedding back in 2008. We were so excited when she booked us for her wedding because we knew from spending time with her at Amber’s wedding, she was beautiful and had a great personality!
Lauren wanted to do her bridal session in Clemson. We shot in several different places, but mostly at the South Carolina Botanical Gardens.

Last Spring I had the pleasure to work baby Jameson and his family. The South Carolina Botanical Gardens in Clemson, SC was the most perfect location!
We don’t photograph babies or very young children very often, but it’s always a privilege when we get too!
Right before I took this picture we saw a 6 foot black snake crawl just a few feet from us. It freaked me out a bit, but I Jameson was wanting to find it to play with it! Thankfully it disappeared and didn’t come back!
This was one of my favorite images from the session. Baby Jameson got too close to the edge of the bridge and Mom ran after him. Don’t worry, I wasn’t gonna let him get too close. Haha!
Back in March we had the joy of photographing Meg and Matt’s Wedding. We were all a little concerned all week, because it was suppose to rain on their wedding day. Well, we weren’t let down. It rained cats and dogs most of the day! The rain stopped just in time for their reception. The bad weather provided a very comfortable open air reception though.
Although it was a rainy day it sure didn’t dampen the spirits of the couple or the wedding party.
The wedding was held at Concord Baptist Church in Anderson, SC. The Reception was held at The Owen Pavilion at The Madren Center at Clemson University.

Thanks Meg and Matt for allowing us to be a part of your special day!
The other day I got a chance to hang out with the Terry family at Clemson and some family portraits.
Now anyone that knows us at all knows that working with us can be a lot different than working with a traditional portrait photographer. I like to have fun. If I’m not having fun doing something, I just don’t like to do it. Family portraits are no exception. So I like to mix things up and have a good time with the people I am shooting with.
The Terry family was so much fun to work with! They really made my job very easy.
On to the pictures!
Just as a reminder, we are offering a family portrait special through the end of the month. We are waving the session fee of $175.00 with a minimum purchase of $100.00 in prints. This is only for family sessions booked through the end of February.
Call or email now to book your session with us!

About a month ago I got to hang out with Sarah and Joseph and shoot their engagement session. We met at the caboose at the SC Botanical Gardens in Clemson.
I knew even before the session that we would have a great time shooting. After meeting Sarah in advance, and knowing how excited she was about the engagement session and shooting at Clemson, I knew it was gonna be a great time.
Here are some pics!

Thanks for sticking around and looking at all of these images. I know it was a bunch! Keep checking back often. More pictures to come!

I am so excited! Congrats Dabo, I can’t wait to watch our football team over the next few years. Exciting things are coming!
About a month ago I met with Allison, her Mother, and a friend in Clemson to do her bridal portraits. Now since her wedding has passed I can share the pictures!
Allison was such a beautiful bride!
We really had a blast making these images. Especially that next to last one. I was sitting on a hill trying not to roll down it while Allison’s Mom was holding the flash in front of her to light her up. The sky was a beautiful bright orange, but I still thought it looked better in war black & white!
